Almost a compliment

You gotta love kids! They are so honest and innocent! I was with a friend of mine the other day, who happens to be 4 years old, and we were getting ready to go outside to play a little soccer with her pink soccer ball. She looks up at me as I’m helping her tie her shoes and says, “Jean Jean (ya gotta love that!) you don’t look old”. “Blessed child”, I think to myself as I smile at her. “But your hands do”, she says matter of factly. Alrighty then!! I quickly recovered and tried to be as agile as I could as I played goalie/defenseman/whatever she wanted me to be. Be blessed today!! And remember: you are only as old as you feel (or as your hands look).

You think we could start wearing gloves as fashion statements again? You know, bring back the 80′s…1880′s!
Loved this! One of God’s greatest gifts…our children!
When my son Steven was 3 or 3 1/2- we were in Church, Rev Strawser was preaching… How God- escorts us to heaven- God will give you and escort…’ Steven standing in the pew next to me shouts out, “My mom has an escort, it’s right out there”! as he points out the window. Yes, back then I drove a Ford escort and as we were leaving the church Rev Strawser reached down and took Steven’s little hand and said, “I know of one little boy who was listening today.” Steven is now 17 and graduating from Penn manor this year!
Thanks for sharing!
love it!!!!
