I came across this looking through some old notes and thought I’d share.
Parent of a Teenager’s Creed:
I am cool.
I know things.
My clothes look good on me.
I am funny.
My opinions count.
People care what I say.
It matters what I did “at your age”.
I’m not “that old”.
I gave birth to you and I will love you,
no matter how many times you roll your eyes at me.
I look forward to the day,
when you think I’m cool again.
REPEAT EVERY MORNING IF NECESSARY
