Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water
Jack fell down
And broke his crown
And Jill came tumbling after.
So it started out innocent enough.
“Jill, come on we have to get a pail of water.”
What happened up there?
What shenanigans went on?
What are the odds of them BOTH falling?
Somebody was pushing and shoving or racing or something!
And what purpose is there to that rhyme?
It just makes you feel bad for Jack and Jill.
There is one more nursery rhyme that I don’t like–see if you can guess it, then we’ll get back to another God topic!
